Apple watchOS 3 has been officially released and the company is hoping this could address number of issues concerning the Apple watch experience.

Reports from Computer World stated that the issues from the previous version included slow launch of third-party apps, odd interface choices, obsolete complications on data and inaccurate heart rate data for certain workouts.

But the company reportedly made sure that the new watchOS 3 made a lot of changes and users who are very familiar with the previous smartwatch operating system will be impressed with its overall performance improvements.

Once the watch upgrades to its newest OS version, users can definitely see the significant difference with this version over the watchOS 1 and 2, according to reports from Apple Insider.

Everything from the new Apple watchOS 3 is said to feel smoother and more responsive. Apps, especially third-party apps now load faster and the interface choices have been thought through. Aside from the default watch faces, selection and customization for the users are now allowed because Apple is now reportedly encouraging third-party apps to create their own complication for the Apple smartwatch.

Application dock is also introduced in the new version. This will serve as a shortcut to the users' favorite and recently used apps. According to MacRumors, the new application dock is capable of displaying up to ten apps which users can launch instantly.

Other new features that the new Apple watch brings is the Emergency SOS feature. This feature can be activated by holding the Watch's side button for three seconds and then swiping the Emergency SOS option. The display will basically initiate a three-second countdown after the initial three seconds, and at that point, Emergency SOS contacts emergency services will reach out over Wi-Fi.

The much anticipated Breathe app is also reportedly included on the update as well as the enhanced Reminders, Find My Friends and Heart Rate apps. A new Activity feature is also present, making it possible for users to keep track of their detailed workouts and activities.

All Apple watch models are compatible for an update with the new watchOS 3.
