It looks like the Final Fantasy-themed "Lunar Edition" PS4 slim will be heading to the US.

Sony confirmed that the console will be available in the US and Canada anytime soon. The product consists of a moon-adorned 1TB model PS4 Slim with a customised controller, and a copy of the Final Fantasy XV Deluxe Edition (with "Kingsglaive" Blu-ray, bonus DLC, and steelbook).

According to IGN, the limited release will be available in the US exclusively at GameStop for $449 USD. In Canada, EB Games has the exclusive rights to sell it at $549 CAD. The game is also listed on pre-orders in Europe priced at £329.99, though no official price has been announced for the market.

Sony Interactive Entertainment earlier announced that they will launch the Final Fantasy XV for Playstation 4 and Xbox One in Japan this coming November 29. The Japan version will be dubbed as "Final Fantasy XV Lunar Edition".

Square Enix, maker of the Final Fantasy series, revealed that "Final Fantasy XV" will feature new weapons, Xbox Scorpio, PS4 Pro version, PC but will have no Nintendo X version of the game.

iTech Post reported that Japanese game director and Square Enix head honcho Hajime Tabata announced the delay of "Final Fantasy XV" from its September 30 original release because the development team needs to carry out more quality testing to polish the game further.

The limited edition of the game has the design of the moon on its packaging and the word "moon" written on its glossy black surface. The chief characters of the game are Noctis Lucis Caelum, Ignis Scientia,Gladiolus Amicitia, and Prompto Argentum, with all their names inscribed on the console.
