The Pritchetts, Dunphys and Tuckers will again be seen in Modern Family Season 8, making the TV series another must-watch for fans and non-fans alike. It is expected that a possible grand reunion will happen in Season 8, as well as new characters to be seen on new cameo roles.

Reunion of  the Modern Family

According to E! Online, Season 8 of the Modern Family will premiere with a reunion of the Pritchetts, Dunphys and Tuckers, as the three families celebrate Father's Day.

The season starts with the reunion of the three families after their own vacations in New York, the American Midwest and Mexico. Surely, they will still be in jet-lag which brings in a lot of possibilities for unexpected surprises.

Clair that is played by Julie Bown, is going to face her struggles with Jay, his dad, who is played by Ed O'Neil. Clair and Jay will also be back to work for Season 8, and that a series of unfortunate events will happen between the two as the reunion tries to unfold the whole story for the season.

Guest Stars in Cameo Roles

What makes Season 8 of Modern Family a truly exciting one is that there will be a host of interesting characters that will be seen in the TV series. One of the guest celebs is Nathan Filion, the "Caste" star who is going to play the role of Rainer Shine, a weatherman who spices up the day because of his interesting personality.

According to Christian Today, Martin Short will also be seen in Modern Family Season 8, who will play the role of Phil's colleague doing small tasks such as various office works.

The Halloween and New Year's Eve episodes of Modern Family Season 8 also will surely captivate everyone as the guest stars will debut in these special Holiday episodes. Surely, the viewer's spirit of Christmas will be a more memorable one.

The Modern Family Season 8 will premiere on ABC on Wednesday, Sept. 21.
