Microsoft's latest ad commercial compared Surface Pro 4 with Apple products. The marketing strategy of Microsoft in comparing its make with Apple products is being repeated.

In a recent ad named as "Get the Surface Pro," launched by Microsoft with an anti-MacBook theme, the Surface Pro 4 is compared with Apple's MacBook Air. The marketing officials of Microsoft are regularly utilizing and comparing their products features with its rival company's product drawbacks to achieve a firm step in the tech world, Mac Rumors reported.

The recent ad released clearly shows the comparison of Surface pro 4's touch screen option, a surface pen and a detachable keyboard. Thus, indicating that the device offers flexibility and can be considered both as a tablet and a laptop. The ad shows clearly what Surface Pro 4 can do that MacBook Air cannot in terms of touch screen option and removable keyboard.

According to Game N Guide, the ad is reported not a right comparison as MacBook Air is a notebook and not in a laptop segment. iPad Pro from Apple though doesn't have detachable keyboard is a right rival for Surface Pro 4.

The singer in the new ad tells potential customers that "if you try to write on a plain old Mac, the difference can be seen. It doesn't work." Other ending tagline states, "Surface does more. Just like you", as quoted by Mac Rumors.

A price comparison between the two rival products with different models is as follows- Surface Pro 4 with 12.3 inch screen is 899USD for 128GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM and 1,799 USD for 256GB of internal storage and 16GB of RAM.

MacBook Air with 11-inch screen is 899USD with 128GB of storage and 4GB of RAM and 1099USD for 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. MacBook Air with 13-inch screen is at 999 USD for 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM and 1199 USD for 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM.
