When Josh Duggar sex scandals came to forefront, the Duggar family lost their reality TV show "19 Kids & Counting" and since then have struggled to stay afloat. Following the shocking revelation, the couple had a huge disagreement about their son Josh. As Jim Bob is ready to bring him back into the family, his mother Michelle cannot forgive his deplorable actions. This contention has led the couple to consider divorce. However, they continue to stick together as they get paid huge bucks for faking happy married life, reported Morning Ledger.

Josh was being investigated for not only molesting five underage girls as a teenager, but also four of his own sisters that shocked the conservative family. Since then, his parents, Jim Bob and Michelle have faced massive strain in their relationship but continue to stay together for the sake of financial gains. However, the reports predict that the couple may end up divorcing after all, some even speculating that the separation will conclude by the end of this year.

In another blow to the family who was already suffering from the damage inflicted by Josh, he also admitted to cheating on his wife Anna Duggar by using the Ashley Madison account. Just as the scandal was uncovered, their popular reality TV show was cancelled, despite their raging popularity as a traditional religious family.

Subsequently, the family also lost millions of dollars in advertisements, apart from losing the show. The situation became so worse that the family had to ask for donations and financial support from fans to stand back up again.

Since then, Duggar sisters, Jill & Jessa have been able to score a spin-off series, "Jill & Jessa: Counting On." However, the show is failed to gain traction and the sisters find it hard to keep the show alive amid dwindling ratings. For now, the family is hoping that Jessa's pregnancy will regenerate interest in their family and the ratings will pick up. However, it only waits to be seen.
