Protesters raided the stage after Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte's first performance on "Dancing with the Stars" (DWTS). The incident occurred as Lochte was being critiqued by one of the judges on his dance routine.

"Two individuals stormed the dance floor tonight and were immediately subdued and escorted out of the building," a spokesperson for DWTS producer BBC Worldwide Productions, said in a CNN interview.

Offhand, ABC News was able to broadcast the clip where that two men got on the main stage with four other people yelling anti-Lochte chants as they did so. The two intruders, Barzeen Soroudi and Sam Sotoodeh, were arrested soon afterwards.

"They were arrested on the grounds of trespassing, this was a private person's arrest as the security at the venue made the arrest," an LAPD spokesperson said. "We just accepted [them] and booked them."

Lochte joined Season 23 of "Dancing with the Stars" amid a hurricane of negative publicity he received for admitting he "over-exaggerated" claims that he and fellow teammates were robbed at gunpoint while spending the night out in Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 Olympics.

Although the show was live, the actual incident was not shown on camera, as decided by the producers of ABC. An audience member was able to record an insider clip at the right moment where security guards tackled Soroudi and Sotoodeh. The clip was then posted on social media.

Throughout the brief incident, the camera remained focused on judge Carrie Ann Inaba, who exclaimed "Excuse me!" multiple times as clamor rose in the audience and onstage.

"Off! Off!" the judge yelled, gesturing for the intruders to escort themselves off the stage.

The network went on a commercial break, but the camera briefly showed Lochte and his dancing partner, Cheryl Burke, both appearing confused and agitated by the sudden demonstration.
