Apple who've been self-proclaimed to be "the most innovative" brand in the world with implementing premier changes along with changes in hardware design and technology is already known to be stealing ideas from their android competitors like Samsung and HTC. While the majority of the general public truly acknowledge this to be a never-ending topic, it's still into a lot of limelight for varied reasons.

What Apple loyalists debate like looks similar to "yeah! Maybe we are not the first to make it, we're the first to make it work" which is pretty much like telling I didn't make the gun first but I'm the first to fire a bullet. Apple had their September keynote on 07 where they announced two new iPhones: 7 and 7plus which will now be the current flagships taking helm from their predecessors 6s and 6s plus.

Coming to Apple's new chips, while is true that Apple have truly engineered their own chips for the best performance, the thought of optimising them in terms of splitting processor priorities were already long done in Android base. The processor cores are split in two where the two cores are low-powered and will automatically switch to-and fro from the higher-clocked chips if needed. This specially is useful in saving a bit of battery juice however not very major in terms of battery graph estimation but we have to acknowledge the fact that most Samsung and Sony phones have implemented this a couple of years ago which means Apple are now belatedly bringing out features for their customers' which Android already accommodated in 2013.

Coming to water and dust proof phones, this concept was obviously tempted by Samsung. For about three years now, we've seen a lot of water and dust proof phones with IP ratings 67 and 68 where the device withstands water and dust to a certain extent like thirty minutes of water immersion or about a depth of fifty meters. However, Apple's IP67 ratings aren't so high when you compare the same with competitor phones which are now IP68 rated and the advancements are in full swing. Now, people have to be cautioned. If you ever immerse your phone in water and it gets into the hardware by any chance, you're screwed.

Apple will not in any instance, replace or agree to repair your phone even if it is enrolled by Apple care plus. This is the harsh truth consumers don't often know about. There are dual-lens cameras which HTC already had implemented in their "One M8" which is now older by two years. Then there's front facing dual speakers which is present In a lot of smartphones especially from HTC where they implemented boom sound speakers.
