New speculations that the ten-year marriage of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban is heading to divorce arose after the actress showed alone in Toronto International Film Festival without her husband.

Kidman's solo appearance at this red carpet event has fans wondering whether her marriage with the country singer is hitting a rough patch again.

Urban reportedly refused to go with his wife in TIFF as he declined to play Kidman's games of image-making. This refusal to attend with her, as Celebrity Laundry reported, is his way of making it clear that "their marriage has been anything but smooth sailing."

The two have been married for ten years and have two children. From time to time, Urban hinted about his implied marital problems. Rumors have it that the couple has been in terrible arguments lately.

As per the report of Inquisitor, however, the untruthfulness of this alleged divorce is exposed as Urban's absence is hardly grounds for divorce and has nothing to do with the state of their marriage. Facts suggested that the two are not together in this event because the singer was in five hours away, performing in a back-to-back concert. It just so happened that the schedule of his concert is on the exact same date of his wife's movie premiere for "Lion."

Earlier this July, Urban opens up with his marriage in an interview with Hits, "First and foremost, my marriage with Nic informs everything. Nic is so unbelievably open; she doesn't keep things in or bottle them up. She's a great communicator. Because of her, if I open up, every day, I'm listening and growing and learning. If I'm a better man, it's because of her."

In the same interview, Urban added that he had a learning curve in her marriage with Kidman which he had written in his songs in his new album, "Get Closer." He said, "When things are tough or upsetting, it's about pulling her close. That's what she needs, and I had to learn it."
