"Frozen," a 2013's famous animated movie is reportedly to come up with a sequel by 2018 but latest rumors claim that the movie will have a new story and characters that may cause a delay in its release.

The internet abounds with claims that "Frozen 2" will have a new storyline - a prince in search for his princess. According to TIME, Kristen Bell who played the well-known role of Princess Anna - revealed on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" show that the cast has not yet started shooting for "Frozen 2" and they were just waiting for the script. The writers are reportedly facing it difficult to pen down a new script better than the first movie.

"They take a lot of time over there to just perfect it, and it has to go through a lot of development to make sure that it's exactly the story that needs to be told," adds Bell.

According to a report by Collider, Disney and the team working on the popular animated movie of 2013 that earned fame and dollars round the globe have not yet released any official details - such as an official narrative arc and a "Frozen 2" OST. But, there is news that Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, and the lead cast are all set for their return to the big screen.

It has also been speculated that Snow Queen Elsa (Menzel), Anna (Bell), and Olaf (Josh Gad) will no longer be making their appearances, as these certain "Frozen" cast members have filed for resignation. If these speculations have any truth in them, then Elsa and Anna's storyline might follow a different storyline.

Internet detectives and insiders claim that "Frozen 2" will still feature its musical element but it will be about a prince who is looking for his princess. This notes that Disney and those behind "Frozen 2" are not yet ready with the music, script and characters.

Although, Disney officially announced the making of "Frozen 2" there is no news on the movie's production and shooting.

The "Frozen 2" release date is set for some time in 2018.
