Apple just did what everyone around the globe was probably waiting for - the launch of its iPhone 7 along with an iOS 10 update to its operating system. The launch took place on Sept. 7, Wednesday and the users were able to download the updates starting the same day.

According to Business Insider, iOS10 is the biggest operating system update ever made in the history of Apple. The new OS is expected to be made available to everyone within a week of its launch.

The new OS features a lot of cool and excited features that every iPhone user is expected to love. Some of these features were leaked back in July 2017, however, the launch of the full-fledged OS proves that Apple has long term, continuing plans to dominate the smartphone market.

Unlike before, the lock screen of the new OS has plenty of information that the iPhone user can quickly take a look at. That is, instead of displaying a single notification, iOS10 provides an option to add a number of widgets that provide quick access to all the important information on the lock screen itself.

In fact, everything that appears on the lock screen continues to remain on the unlocked phone screen as well. The users can also the stuff that they are browsing on their computer right on their iPhone. This feature was not so popular before the launch of iOS10.

The new OS also clearly tells where exactly the iPhone user parked his or her car. The OS remember where you parked your car and can keep the location in its memory. So the next time an iPhone user gets frustrated searching for his or her car, iOS 10 may come to rescue.

Previous people had to download third-party keyboards to send gifs and other emojis on iMessage. However, now iPhone users will not be required to take this step. The all new iOS 10 has got a big reboot with a special feature to quickly search for photos and gifs to send. So now people can send a gif instead of typing a text!
