Michael Schumacher has always been on the mind of his fans ever since a fatal skiing accident left him on a hospital bed, in a coma, a few years ago. Even though he is believed to be out of the coma now, the retired Formula One player continues to remain in isolation and maintain privacy from the world.

This is the reason why a majority of media outlets and Schumacher's well-wishers do not know a thing about his current health situation. Recently, an ex-Formula 1 priest named Don Sergio Mantovani claimed that he knows a few things about Schumacher and also said that he is a real fighter, according to Christian Today.

Mantovani has always been seen in the Ferrari paddock since many years. The long-serving priest was recently interviewed by a German newspaper about Schumacher, to which he replied, "Michael is still a hero here (at Maranello)."

The priest went on to say that Schumacher has always been everyone's favorite and enlightened the way how he used to love his Ferrari. For his dedication and personality, Italians loved him too and he continues to remain in their heart.

Mantovani revealed how Schumacher always believed in God but did not go to church. He was a fighter as a driver and continues to remain a fighter even now. The loyal priest claimed that he know much more things about the former player, but have not been able to establish a contact with him since long. He said that he has been praying for his health and only God knows why he has been exposed to this kind of a suffering.

Nobody has any clue about how the player has been recovering from the accident, even though he was responding well to medicine. Reports suggest that the player has requested his family members to maintain privacy about his conditions and does not like to speak much with anyone. He is being looked after by a team of doctors who are always available at his residence for support.

In other news, it was said that Felipe Massa, who recently took his retirement, prior to the Italian Grand Prix, mentioned how inspiring Schumacher has been in his life, during his retirement speech.

Fans hope Schumacher to be around to celebrate his 25th year anniversary for winning first Formula 1 title.
