The report did not only stir reactions from the fans of the 69-year-old Hollywood superstar. It also ruined his Labor Day celebration.

It can be recalled that a similar hoax report about Jaden Smith surfaced online last month. It eventually turned out that Will Smith's son is very much alive and in a very good condition.

Just like Smith, the famous actress Angelina Jolie was also victimized by a report in the past claiming that she committed suicide.

A Hollywood Life article revealed that Stallone's fake death story allegedly rooted from CNN's US news portal and was spread on Facebook on Sept. 3, prompting fans to share the story on social media.

The post also showed a photo of Sylvester Stallone inside a body bag being moved away from his Los Angeles home. It was eventually discovered that the photo was fabricated.

Amid the report, Stallone remained active on his social media accounts. He even used these to prove that he is not dead and in good condition.

Mirror.co.uk then confirmed that Stallone was indeed the latest victim of celebrity death hoax.

Stallone debunked the rumors by posting a muscle-flaunting picture along with Russian boxer Sergey "Krusher" Kovalev.

Although the post did not contain any reference of the vile prank found on the internet, it seems like Stallone tried to brush the idea away by striking a boxing pose proving that he is in good health condition.
