"High School Musical 4" is confirmed and there are high chances that Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens will also reunite for the fourth part of Disney's romantic comedy series. However, their reunion is a matter of concern for the makers as the exes might find it tough to work with each other and stay professional.

It is common to see exes behaving awkwardly when they reunite for a project and in this case, makers seem to have taken some precaution, reports state. The two are not going to star as coaches, as claimed previously. Rather, they might be starring as old flames and would not come face to face with each other.

Though the veracity of the reports is still under clouds, it looks like Vanessa's current beau Austin Butler is not okay with his lady love getting back together with her ex. Butler fears that their on-screen gestures and togetherness might stir up old feelings. He is said to be insecure about their proposed reunion and does not seem to be happy about it.

Notably, Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron broke off their relationship after dating each other for four years. As per Hudgens, it was a mutual decision but it was Efron's growing popularity with girls and female fans that caused the separation.

Hudgens did not want to be the jealous girlfriend in their relationship and thought it better to move on. She found love with Butler a few years later and now he is said to be looking forward to proposing to her. Maybe this is why he is feeling insecure.

Well, howsoever insecure Butler might feel, the fact remains that Hudgens and Efron are a popular pair and fans want to see them together. Their chemistry as Troy Bolton and Gabriella Montez was highly appreciated in the three installments of the teenage romantic-comedy series and ever since the fourth edition has been announced, fans are excited to see the two on screen.

Well, wishful thinking is completely justified in the case of fans but it would be better to wait for an official announcement before going gaga about the reunion in "High School Musical 4."
