"It has become apparent that the allegations are not just false but fabricated," said Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos.

Responding to a 911 call, police arrived at Brown's home shortly after 3 a.m. Tuesday. But they were denied entry and told to obtain a search warrant, prompting a protracted standoff with Brown that was broadcast on television.

When the warrant was secured, police recovered footage from the $4.3-million home's security camera system, according to sources close to the investigation.

Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and released late Tuesday after posting $250,000 bail. He has not been charged and his arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 20, according to jail records."

It needs to be remembered that the fact there has been no denial yet in terms of the drugs that were allegedly found in his apartment but no statement has been forthcoming regarding the whole thing.

This is not Brown's first brush with the law. Back in 2009, Brown had his then girlfriend Rihanna during an argument and then pleaded guilty of the assault.

Following the verdict, he was sent on probation for 6 years. However, that was not the end of his troubles as he was then found guilty of violating the terms of his prohibition after attacking a man in Washington back in 2014.

In the latest case, it seems that TMZ had jumped the gun a bit early and failed to fact check the story.

This after it reported on the 30th of August, the LAPD acquired a search warrant for singer-songwriter's house and had not only recovered drugs but also firearms.

Hopefully this will be the end of legal wrangles for the troubled star.
