These talks spread after director Josh Boone revealed his thoughts about the movie and posted a tweet saying, "Lestat: there can only be one. #JaredLeto."

A lot of fans expressed their delight upon knowing that the Oscar winning actor might take the role with Eddie Redmayne and Jim Caviezel.

In the event that these rumors are true, choosing Leto somehow provides an assurance that the Chronicles' adaptation would be a success.

Although tapping Leto as Lestat is indeed a good idea, neither the star nor Boone can provide any official confirmation yet.

When it comes to other characters, Eddie Redmayne is considered as perfect option for the role of Louis, a character on the previous adaptation portrayed by Brad Pitt. He has the needed acting skills and the looks similar to that of Pitt when he played the role.

But aside from Redmayne, Matt Bomer is also a good choice given that he can conveniently bring out Louis' popular trait in the story, which is the endurance in dealing with the struggles of being a vampire.

Finally, Jim Caviezel seems to be a favored choice to star as Arman, the hot-blooded leader of the Theatre des Vampires since he can effortlessly use his boyish appeal and dark features to once again bring the role back to life.

Rami Malek is also among the few stars eyed to portray the role of Armand for he possesses the looks and can easily use his facial expressions to give justice to the character.

But since all of these possibilities are plain rumors and were not confirmed yet, it is best for "Interview With The Vampire" fans to accept that the remake of the movie will feature other stars too.
