The record-breaking fantasy series, "Supernatural" Season 12 is fast approaching and along with it, speculations of spinoffs and also another season is also doing the rounds. Well, the good news for fans is that the creators are considering another season post Season 12 and also another spinoff.

"Supernatural" Season 12, it is just a month away and going by trends, the premiere episode will deal with the cliffhanger. Reports suggest that the first episode may have Dean and Sam thinking about each other even though they are on the different sides of the road. Possibly, the season will start with the focus on uniting the brothers and in this process revelation about the character (Mary or Toni), who will be in the center of the season's mythology will be revealed. It is also speculated that the premiere episode will not have the brothers reuniting.

According to reports, it is the great rating of the show as well as the audience's love for the series that has compelled the makers to renew the series. Moreover, for The CW President, Mark Pedowitz, a spinoff is on priority, so it is the next in line that the fans can expect.

Pedowitz had revealed at the summer press tour of Television Critics Association that the proposed spinoff, Bloodline, has been developed and the team is awaiting an approval from the Warner Bros.

Reportedly, the pilot spinoff after the ninth season did not work out well and was unable to attract the attention of the fans. This led to speculations that it will not happen at all. But, Pedowitz's revelation has debunked all the stories and renewed hopes of a probable spinoff.

It is also being speculated that the spinoff will focus on the fan-favorite character, Castiel. Some fans also wish to see spinoffs focusing on the villains, Lucifer and Amara.

"Supernatural" Season 12 premiers on Oct. 13 on The CW.
