Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was a famous wrestler before he joined Hollywood. Soon, he was able to make his mark in Hollywood and quickly became a fan favorite. After his successful career, the popular actor has now reached the top of the Forbes' list as the world's highest paid actor. Between June 2015 and June 2016, the actor made a whopping $64.5 Million.

With his staggering earnings, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has surpassed even Robert Downey Jr. who made almost half of what Johnson made, at $33 Million. Forbes named Jackie Chan at $61 Million and Matt Damon at $55 Million on second and third spot, respectively.

Even though Johnson may already be on the took, looking at his upcoming projects, it may be safe to assume that he may end up being there for quite sometime. His next films include "Fast & Furious 8," "Baywatch," and "Central Intelligence."

Despite his coveted top spot, Johnson attracted some bad press previously for taking a shot at his "Fast 8" co-star. In previous report, it was noted that Johnson posted an extensive outburst that led to speculations that he may be making certain decisions just like the producer, Vin Diesel. However, despite his outburst, the actor managed to clear the air and worked things out with his colleagues. He also posted an Instagram photo, calling his team as his family.

"There's no greatness ever achieved alone. It's always a team effort. We promised an epic prison breakout for you guys and we delivered," The Rock wrote. "Huge thank you to my ohana (family) stunt coordinator JJ Perry and his bad ass fearless stunt team, as well as my cousin and incredible stunt double @samoanstuntman. Thank you, team, for the willingness to 'die hard' and drop your blood & sweat daily for our movie."
