Roger Federer recently tweeted some happy news for the holidays, as his wife Mika is expecting their third child, as The Associated Press confirms.

"Mirka and I are very happy to share the news that Myla & Charlene will be big sisters in 2014! Happy Holidays," the tennis pro tweeted today, Dec. 24. The two are parents to their identical four-year-old twin girls, born on July 23, 2009.

Federer's agent, Tony Godsick, confirmed to The Associated Press the tweet is legitimate.

The new year will certainly be busy for Federer, as he will begin his 2014 season at the Brisbane International on Dec. 29, and is also playing a charity match in Melbourne on Jan. 8. At 32-year-old, Federer "has won a record 17 Grand Slam singles titles and spent more weeks at No. 1 than anyone else in the history of the ATP rankings," according to the AP.

"I don't want to say I was frustrated, but I didn't understand why it wasn't happening for me," the tennis champ told The Sunday Mail of his struggles to break through early on in his career. "I was far enough behind that I was, 'OK, let's push myself a little more'. "I was like a rough cut diamond. That's how a lot of people saw me. I needed polishing."
