Several analysts believe that the new laptop will indeed feature USB 3.1 Gen 2, even though the current MacBooks do not support the USB 3.1 Gen 2 hardware. Hence, it is safe to assume that the tech giant will ship USB components that will allow faster data transfer in the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016.
