A series of reports claimed that the release of the much-awaited "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will likely take place after March 2017.

The latest version will be in multiple parts with only the famous characters included.

In an article posted by Christian Today on its website, the game developer said that is has decided to resurrect "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" to allow players to once again play as Cloud Strife or Avalanche brothers.

The new version is also rumored to combine real-time action and the use of strategic elements. In an interview with Game Informer, Square Enix producer Yoshinori Kitase said that although the upcoming game will be introduced as a remake, it will not make the players do the same things.

Game experts believed that "Final Fantasy" fans can expect some improvements on the game like improved graphics quality, enhanced battle systems and game styles, and a gameplay parallel to that of the "Devil May Cry" and "Kingdom Hearts."

These were somehow confirmed since the game developers said they wanted to upgrade the visuals of the "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" to be at par with "Advent Children."

Kitase was quoted in the interview, saying the new version will essentially be a full-scale game for each part of the multi-part series. In XIII, each installment told the story from a different angle."

But the team behind the development of the game and the company remained secretive on the major details of "Final Fantasy 7 Remake."

They are still unwilling to reveal even the game's release date and the information regarding the number of episodes.
