The most-anticipated return of "Girl Meets World" Season 4 will not happen soon as Disney Channel is reportedly eyeing at wrapping-up the show.

This as Maya and Riley are all grown up now, prompting the plot of the story to deal with more adult issues. Disney Channel's primary audience is kids and younger teens.

"Girl Meets World" is already on its third season now. The series will have the girls in college with the plot requiring them to face more complex situations.

With Disney's kids-friendly mantra, speculations that "Girl Meets World" will be wrapped up from the Disney Channel may actually be true.

Moreover, a photo of an emotional Rowan Blanchard surfaced, which fueled the speculations that the show will end soon. However, the producers have not made any official announcement yet.

According to reports, "Girl Meets World" may possibly be moved to the Freeform Channel.

The predecessor of the series, Boy Meets World, is currently being aired over Freeform. Fans hope that the new television channel could pick up the show from here when Disney ends in the third season.

Freeform can take Riley and Maya through more mature aspects as they enter college.

As of now, Disney Channel remains mum on the future of "Girl Meets World."
