Full marks to Kit Harrington for playing Jon so well. The actor did a great job, especially in the sixth season, and now that the show is drawing to a close, his epic role will also come to an end.

In an interview, the 29-year-old actor opened up about his experience, Jon's journey and, the Emmy nomination. He called being on the show the "goliath event of his life" and the role of Jon Snow a role of a lifetime. He said that he is going to enjoy every moment of the last two seasons as he does not know when he will get something like this again.

Talking about Jon's resurrection, Harrington revealed that he had been told by the showrunners that he would be coming back but it was not disclosed how. He kept thinking about the possible changes that would sweep Jon but when he returns from dead and realizes that there is nothing after it, it changes him fundamentally. According to Harrington, it was terrifying for Jon as he is a young man with a somewhat religious mindset and the post-death emptiness does scare him.

Dishing on "Battle of the Bastards," the actor revealed that the episode was physically challenging, but the end result made everyone happy as the team had spent a lot of money and energy on it. He said that the scene, which shows Jon getting buried alive under a pile of bodies, was the result of a conversation between him and director Miguel Sapochnik.

Also, at that time, they had no idea that it would be compared with Daenerys' scene, where she is held aloft by the slaves, she frees. As for the Emmy nomination, Harrington revealed that he was very happy and even wept after getting the news.
