Everyone (literally) is talking about Pokémon Go. You must have been living under a rock if you still have not played it, or at least heard of it. Check your Facebook or Twitter feeds and it will surely be filled with news about it.

Pokémon Go is the latest mobile app based on an expanded reality game released by The Pokémon Company, Nintendo, and Niantic Labs. Pokémon Go has already earned an estimated $14.04 million since its release. In this app, you start as a Pokémon trainer, catching and training Pokémon and eventually battling in and claiming Pokémon gyms. You can go around the neighborhood or even climb up mountains to find as many Pokémon as you can. You can even share images and snaps of your most recent catch in Social Media like Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

People are really going crazy trying to catch 'em all. But as a novice, how can you do this?

The best advice will be is to first get the hang of it. Explore the game and know and study the basics. Know the nearest Poké Stops near your location because this is where you will have to refill your Poké balls. As you increase your level, you will have other items, the most notable are Razz Berry (feed to Pokémon to catch them easily), Great Ball (used for catching high level Pokémon), Potion, Super Potion and Hyper Potion (Spray Type medicines used for wounded Pokémon), Revive (used for fainted Pokémon) and Lucky Egg (doubles your experience or XP for 30 minutes).

As a committed Pokémon trainer, you also have to make time for catching Pokémon. Increase your experience or XP and level by catching as many Pokémon as you can.

If you stay in one place, it is most likely you will not find other Pokémon. Some people use Pokémon Go maps to find the rarest Pokémon around. Just be careful because Niantic is reportedly blocking these tracker apps and banning users who fakes their location to go to more places without physically being there.
