Amber Heard has decided to donate the entire $7 million divorce settlement she received from Johnny Depp to charity and is hopeful that the money will be used for a good purpose. Her ugly divorce war with Depp has come to an end and it seems things will be back to normal in some time.

According to reports, the 30-year-old actress has said that money did not play any role for her personally, except to the extent that she could donate it to charity and help the less able to defend themselves. In a statement released to the media, she clarified that the amount is over and above any funds that she has given away in the past and will continue to give away in the future.

She also expressed hope that the charity organizations will use the funds in a good way and she looks forward to supporting them in future as well. Referring to the decision to donate the settlement amount, she said that she hopes the experience results in a positive change in the lives of the needy people.

Notably, Heard and Depp announced earlier this week that they had reached an out-of-court settlement and it happened only one day before the hearing of their restraining order. The duo also announced in a joint statement that their relationship was intensely passionate and went volatile at times, but it was always bound by love.

Meanwhile, it is being said that the divorce will not affect their careers. Both of them have work lined up and projects running till 2018 and till then nobody will remember their nasty divorce.

Given the fact that many from the industry came to Depp's defense, it is pretty clear that he has a long career graph and his divorce will not hurt his career.
