All the fans of Amy Schumer, who love her as a badass and witty woman with a wacky sense of humor, would adore her more when they read her latest book "The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo" that was released on Tuesday.

The book sheds light on her life and reveals certain disturbing incidents that she has been through. Though the incidents are shocking, but at the same time, they are inspiring too. If one is seeking guidance and redemption in life, Amy's book is perfect as it ensures to motivate souls without preaching stuff.  

In a recent interview, Schumer stated that people assume that she is similar to her character from her movie Trainwreck, which was released in 2015. But in reality, it is just the name that her character and she, in real life, share. Certainly, there are some similarities that both share but they are altogether different persons. Amy further stated that many harbor false conceptions about her personality due to her no-apologies approach towards comedy as well as Hollywood.

"The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo" is an honest account of a woman who admits to making mistakes in her life but she does not allow the mistakes to defeat her. Amy has also revealed many secrets from her life in the book, like her relationship in the 20s, which was abusive and that at the age of 17, she lost her virginity during non-consensual sex.

Amy has also revealed in her book that when she was 13 years old, her mother fell in love with her best friend, Mia's father and she (Amy) has not forgiven Mia till date

Coming to the men in her life, Amy has stated in her book that she was involved with 28 men but she never got pregnant. She denies having ever hooked up with a girl.

Amy's book "The Girl with the Lower Back Tattoo" has opened to excellent reviews and according to reports, the sales look promising too.
