Canadian singer Anjulie recently took to Twitter accusing Beyoncé of swiping her original concept for the new "Superpower" music video.

Anjulie released the riot-themed video for her single "Stand Behind the Music" back in 2011, and claims that the pop superstar swiped everything from the set and theme to her green-tinted hair and outfit for the star-studded "Superpower" vid as part of Beyoncé's new visual album.

"So happy to b the visual inspiration behind the new @beyonce video," the Canadian pop singer tweeted, including a link to "Stand Behind the Music."

Twitter followers were less than pleased by her sarcastic remark, one user writing, "gurl you seriously think Beyoncé has seen your crappy video?" while another added, "get over yourself. Don't get it twisted. Who do you think you are coming for Bey? Hahaha!"

Other fans pointed out that riot-themed videos are far from uncommon in the music world, pointing out that Frank Ocean, who is featured in "Superpower," used the same concept for his "No Church in the Wild" video. "Superpower" was directed by Jonas Åkerlund, while "Stand Behind the Music" was directed by Hannah Lux Davis.
