Ever since Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani have come together, their togetherness has been a romantic treat for their fans as the couple keeps gifting each other pleasant surprises. One such surprise waited for the spectators at Dallas on Saturday night when the country singer joined his lady love on stage to croon their composition "Go Ahead and Break My Heart," which the couple has jointly written.

Shelton's gesture had cheered Stefani, but it was the audience who seemed to be more than happy to see the couple together on-stage, giving a PDA-filled performance. According to reports, while the concert was going on, Shelton suddenly appeared with his guitar on stage and started singing with Stefani. The duo had their eyes on each other during the performance and could hardly take their eyes off.

Shelton even told the crowd that their duet song is amongst his favorite ones and he is honored that he performed the same with the great Gwen Stefani. On the other hand, Stefani admitted that she can hardly believe that she wrote a song with Shelton, but it was their performance on the singing reality show "The Voice," which made her realize how magical the song had turned out to be.

The duo met while both were going through a heart break in their respective lives. But, irrespective of the rough path, their meeting was like destiny smiling on them and the sets of "The Voice" saw love blossoming. With time, they started getting closer and though they never planned, but they ended up writing a song together.

Shelton also confessed that he had started the song with the motive of impressing his lady love. And, he had sent her a voice memo and texted the whole thing to her.
