With the trailer of "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story" released, one actress who is garnering huge applause is Felicity Jones, for her portrayal of the character Jyn Erso on screen. Jones looks perfect as the rebel who leads her band, but the actress has admitted that it was not an easy job to get into the mold.

Jones has disclosed that a lot of hard work and training was required to do justice to her character. In an interview, the actress further revealed that since the director, Gareth Edwards, did not want anyone to overhear them, they discussed the role early morning before Jones got on board to play the elder sister who leads her band of brothers.

The 32-years old actress confessed that the training required to do the stunts took hours of practice and was exhausting too. She further added that her kung fu coach helped her to learn the fight.

Interestingly, Jones has revealed that she never thought she would fight and beat the Stormtroopers, however, it was the long hours of practice and hard work that helped her to do it.

Talking about Jyn Erso, her character in "Rogue One: A Star Wars Story," Jones revealed that Erso is an unlikely heroine. With a stature of 5-foot-3, she is a completely opposite of what a war heroine should be. But it is her understated appeal that intensified her charm. As compared to others, she might be short, but, her belief in herself gives her the strength and the motivation to compete with others. Esro's role model is Mon Mothma, whom she respects and looks up to.

In her interview, Jones stated that to make a change towards the better in real life, fantasy is a great instrument. And with women taking up the role of a nation's leader, the films should also be in sync with real life and have are women action heroes.
