Pop icon Britney Spears is the latest celebrity who will be joining James Corden for his popular segment Carpool Karaoke on "The Late Late Show" and she might give fans a taste of songs from her soon-to-be-released album "Glory."

Spears will star in Thursday's (Aug 25) episode, just one day before her newest album's releases. Corden will be welcoming the pop star on the segment and fans are quite excited to see her as the album will hit the stands, just a day after, which means we might get to hear some tracks or other details from "Glory." The pop star might also spill some interesting tidbits during the singing session.

According to reports, Spears has already released one song from the album which is titled "Clumsy" and has lyrics that hint at activities in the bedroom.  She also gave her fans a preview of the tune on Instagram. In her Twitter post, she revealed that the track is available on Spotify for streaming.

In the meantime, it has been revealed that the entertaining singing segment is getting its own TV show at Apple Music. Though no premiere date has been announced, it will follow the same format i.e. each week will see the telecast of one new episode. Corden will not be joining it as host, but he will continue to invite and welcome celebrities in his car for "The Late Late Show." The proposed show will be created by Corden himself with Ben Winston, joining as executive producer.

It is worth mentioning here that by agreeing to become a part of Corden's Carpool Karaoke, Spears has joined the list of celebrities such as Jennifer Lopez, Justin Bieber, Adele, Gwen Stefani, Michelle Obama and many more, who have graced the car seat on Corden's viral segment.

What started off with Mariah Carey as a lighthearted fun segment has become a viral sensation now. Till date, many Hollywood A-listers have made it to the Carpool Karaoke and viewers always look forward to the episodes as it is a sheer delight to watch celebrities crooning songs, sitting side by side with James Corden.
