Rumors surrounding Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's marriage took a different turn this week as it is reported that the A-list couple is moving on from past cheating reports and is taking 'positive steps' to work out their relationship.

According to a source, the couple has come to a 'great understanding' this week and has decided to quash the possibilities of of a nasty split.

"Even though Brad and Angelina have come to a place of great understanding, they still have a long way to go to overcome their many problems. They've taken a very positive step toward a future together and making their marriage better, but there's still a lot to work through," the source said.

This came out after Brangelina's PDA moments last week and their low-key family outing as they celebrate Knox and Vivienne's birthday at the Griddle Cafe in West Hollywood.

The couple has managed to keep their family together amidst busy schedule and is currently living in London while the 52-year old actor is filming Allied. Since last year, Jolie has also been busy directing, the Netflix's drama, First They Killed My Father which is set in Cambodia.

Their busy schedules is said to have caused a rift in their marriage with both parties getting jealous with the people they are working on set.

"The past few months have been tough on [Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie] because they've both been very wrapped up in their own projects. They went from doing By The Sea together and having all this time as a family to spending the majority of their time apart. That is hard on them. Whenever they have to spend too much time apart, it causes tension in the relationship," a source said back in January.
