Rumors of Josh Duggar appearing on TV that have been doing rounds, much to the chagrin of many who do not like the Duggars, prompted a response from TLC that moved to contain the damage.

Jill & Jessa: Counting On, the family's show that went on air late last year after 19 Kids & Counting stopped airing on, is being touted as the family's hope into limelight and out of infamy brought on by its eldest son Josh's alleged scandals, including allegations of minor molestation. Jill & Jessa has not tasted the highs of 19 Kids but the show's producers have found it worthy enough to run another season though advertisers were unhappy with the producers airing their brands during the show's last season.

If the show's airing for another season was not a grouse enough for those opposed to Duggars, reports of Josh being on TV really got their goat.

"Well that's something I don't think I ever expected to read. Holy shit, they have no shame. If TLC wasn't a shitty tabloid channel now, they wouldn't let the f***er back on tv and certainly not pay him for his crimes. It's crazy to think of what has become of a channel that originally stood for The Learning Channel," one Reddit user wrote.

Though no official response was issued by TLC, People Magazine quoted a network source who denied reports suggesting Josh would be on TV.

Josh Duggar made headlines last May when it was alleged he had sexually molested minors, including his sisters, during his teenage. After a public confession and apology from him, TLC pulled 19 Kids & Counting off air. Subsequent revelations of Josh operating Ashely Madison accounts and claims by two porn actors who said they slept with Josh, landed him in a faith-based rehab for six months. He returned home in March this year but has kept a nuanced distance from the media.
