Jump scares and getting scared beyond your dreams is just the tip of the iceberg. If you want to enter the world of "Emily Wants to Play," you need to brace yourself for a lot more than that. Even though it will give you the much needed adrenaline rush, there are nothing about the game that is gory or bloody, reveals PlayStation blog.

The game theme revolves around a pizza delivery guy who is making the last stop at Emily's when he gets trapped inside her house, on an invite to play with her dolls. The pizza guy's objective, in the game, is to stay alive until next morning. The player is the pizza guy who is not only dealing with Emily and her dolls but also a weird back story about her parents. As the player progresses in the game, it can get truly scary.

"Emily Wants to Play" creator, Shawn Hitchcock, reveals that the house they used in the game has been inspired his real childhood home in New Orleans. He remembers how strange and weird things happened when he lived there, and thus it became a perfect setting for the game.

The experience of building this game was frighteningly first hand and the characters felt that they were really present there, during its development. "Emily Wants to Play" is scheduled for August 9 release for $4.99. There is no information about Xbox One release date.
