The Oscar sentiments of Tom Hanks and Clint Eastwood have been on a high post the positive vibes sent across by the trailers of 'Sully.'

Several fans and critics, after watching the recently launched trailers of Sully, acknowledge and agree to the fact that the performance and prowess portrayed by Tom Hanks in the movie directed by Clint Eastwood would at least win an Oscar nomination.

Tom Hanks has excelled in the real life characterization of Chesley 'Sully' Sullenberger - not only did he perfectly match the appearance and charisma of the real life hero but also he has dived deep into the characterization of the controversial hero named the "Miracle on the Hudson." The movie is based on the plot focusing on the heroism of Captain Sullenberger as he flew a disabled plane on Hudson River, and protected the lives of 155 people.

The trailer showed that the movie would also throw light on the aftermath of the incident, and its effect on the reputation and career of Sully. The movie has all the recipes and is all set to make cinematic history, taking into consideration the state of art technology being used to make the film. Director Clint Eastwood would be using IMAX cameras to film a majority of the biopic.

However, IMAX cameras have been previously used and mere usage of the IMAX technology is not a breakthrough idea - but the director claims to shoot the entire movie with IMAX cameras, as claimed by Richard Gelfond, CEO of IMAX. This would make the biopic the first movie to be shot completely with IMAX cameras.

Tom Hanks, on the other hand, is not a newbie in the world of Oscars. He has won Oscars twice in the "Best Actor" category and has been nominated five times in his career. Clint Eastwood, though did not make it to the winners' list as an actor, did have a fair amount of success as a director. Sully is slated to be released on September 9.
