Amazon just came up with function to make it easier to flip through the pages when you read ebooks on kindle.

The new featured called "Page Flip" lets reader skim back and forth through the different parts of a book as if they were actual pages.

Page Flip basically does two things: It remembers your current spot in a book if you move to a different place, and it allows you to see an overview of few pages at once.

Amazon says that Page Flip is compatible with both the Kindle e-readers as well as their Fire tablets, but it will also be available for Android and iOS devices by using Kindle Books application, making it a cross platform.

Page Flip also lets you to zoom out and see things from what Amazon is referring to as a “bird’s eye view” so you can scroll between pages and see them as thumbnail versions in a three by three row.

Beginning on Tuesday, Kindle e-readers, Fire tablets and the Kindle app for iOS and Android can receive a free over-the-air update with Page Flip.
