Almost 3 years have passed since Michael Schumacher was left fighting for his life after a serious head injury while he was skiing in the French Alps.

He was taken to hospital and placed in a medically induced coma, having suffering a head injury. He was in the coma for six months from 29 December 2013 until 16 June 2014.

Without any significant improvement of Michael Schumacher's condition, his wife Corinna stays very supportive of Michael's recovery. According to Sportsrageous, professor Jean-Francois Payen, the head of the Schumi's medical team commended Corinna for her incredible strength, support and willpower for supporting her husband throughout extremely difficult time.

"She has displayed in every way an exceptional willpower," professor Jean-Francois Payen, the head of the Schumi's medical team told Daily Express. "She knew the seriousness of the situation and the long road that lay before them. She looks at things very clearly and makes every effort."

Currently the weekly maintenance cost for Michael's treatment is around $140,000 per week, which is to pay for team of nutritionists, physiotherapists and doctors along with medication.

Michael Schumacher has 15 medical professionals who are watching him through out the day. Dr. Jean-Francois Payen is leading them, and he is also the one who did Schumacher's brain operation.

Michael is massaged for hours daily to stimulate muscle mass and assessed for recovery throughout the day.

However, at this time unfortunately no one can guess when Michael Schumacher can fully recover. Even professionals and health professionals cannot tell whether he will ever come out of the problem.
