Despite featuring "really good" shooting gameplay experience in Fallout 4, creative director Todd Howard candidly reflected about the post-apocalyptic game's successes and failures in a recent interview.

Fallout 4 is surely one of Bethesda's hugely successful brand-name games following its release in 2015 across PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One platforms. But even with a team of highly talented developers, Bethesda Game Studios director still felt that things didn't totally work as originally planned especially on its dialogue system. The studio has always been known for its innovative drive to incorporate new things in its games.

"We do like to try new things and we have some successes. I think the shooting in Fallout 4 is really good - I think it plays really well," said Howard in an interview with Game Spot.

"Obviously the way we did some dialogue stuff, that didn't work as well. But I know the reasons we tried that - to make a nice interactive conversation - but [it was] less successful than some other things in the game. For us, we take that feedback, and I think long term."

As reported by IGN, Fallout 4 hired voice actors who recorded over 13,000 lines of dialogue for the game for two years in an attempt to create a "nice interactive dialogue." After reviewing feedbacks from players, Bethesda is "thinking long-term" with the issues surrounding the game's dialogue system thanking gamers for their "helpful" comments.

Meanwhile, Bethesda also mentioned about the upcoming DLC packs for Fallout 4 which are as follows: Contraptions, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World. As for the game publisher's other ongoing projects, "The Elder Scrolls VI" is said to be under development for a number of years. There are also two unnamed projects that could rival Bethesda's existing games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim in breadth and size but may take quite a while to complete (via VG247).
