Recent reports pointed out that there is a possibility of Elsa being the first gay Disney princess ever. If the movie is indeed following the lesbian plot, then Elsa will fall in love with Anna in the sequel of "Frozen." Previous reports indicated that Anna was adopted child of deceased King and Queen Arendelle. This means that Elsa and Anna were never related and will eventually start developing feelings for each other. However, this plot is yet to be confirmed by Disney who has petitioned by millions of fans to make Elsa a lesbian in "Frozen 2."

The theme song for the first "Frozen" film, "Let it Go," was allegedly accused of promoting homosexuality. However, composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez clarified that the song is about freeing yourself and not being afraid to show who you really are.

Meanwhile, there are also reports that Olaf is destined to fall for a human in the second installment of "Frozen." But for now, the movie fans must take all the news with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed by Disney yet. According to sources, it is important for Olaf to get a love interest in "Frozen 2" so that they can further push the merchandise sale along with making the plot more interesting. In fact, Josh Gad, voice actor for Olaf is excited for his role in the upcoming movie and is looking forward to have a love interest.

"I'm just excited that they announced it," Josh Gad told E! News. I have complete faith in the creative team and I'm excited to hear that it's happening at this point."

"Frozen 2" is scheduled to hit theatres in 2017.
