Rumor has it that the next villain for "Deadpool 2" may have already been in the works and now the fans are wondering who will it be. Meanwhile, Ed Skrein, playing Ajax in the film, shared his idea of having another villain join the scene.

He said in a recent interview, "The Taskmaster is just you know, so fun. ... to see Taskmaster and Wade Wilson/Deadpool together is so funny - watching them play in the Daniel Way collection they have these incredible riffs. He's a mercenary like Wade Wilson but he's a mercenary without morals." Skrein said. "The only redeeming factor of Deadpool is his morals, right? Taskmaster does not have those morals, so he back-stabs and stuff like that," as added by Skrein.

In a recent report, it was also noted that Cable is already taking a center stage as the main antagonist in the next "Deadpool" movie. To prove this claim, Tim Miller, the director of "Deadpool" has already acknowledged the possibility of Cable being a part of the upcoming sequel. Miller also acknowledged that if there were no antiheroes in the movie, it will impact the overall plot of the franchise.

There are also many other rumors regarding "Deadpool" and its sequel. So far, there have been no confirmation that the Taskmaster would return to the sequel and take up the mantle of an antihero that the fans are waiting to see. In fact, it is not just the cast and the other characters that remain unconfirmed about the movie but also its release date has not been revealed yet. Rumor has it that "Deadpool 2" will be released sometime late 2017 or early 2018.
