Claire Davis, a 17-year-old high school senior, was shot and critically wounded last Friday at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colo. by fellow student Karl Pierson, and is currently in a coma at Littleton Adventist Hospital.

ABC News reports that the boys of One Direction, one of her favorite bands, have created a special "get well soon" video message for her and her family.

After it was revealed that Davis was a big fan of the British pop group, supporters launched an online campaign urging the musicians to visit her at the hospital. In response, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan created and sent a video to her family, which Davis' boyfriend later uploaded to YouTube.

"We've heard you're a big fan and we just wanted to show you some love," Payne says in the video. "What's happened to you is absolutely terrible, something we can't bear thinking about, so we just wanted to share some love with you. All our prayers are with you and your family, hope you get well soon. Lots of love."

Tomlinson then blows Davis a kiss.

On Sunday, Davis' family released a statement on Littleton Adventist Hospital's Facebook page announcing that while their daughter is in critical condition, she is currently stable.

"The first responders got Claire to the right place, at the right time, and the doctors and hospital staff are doing a wonderful job taking care of her," her family wrote. "We appreciate your continued good thoughts and prayers, and will provide updates as her condition improves. We again ask that you respect our wishes for privacy, and refrain from contacting us, our extended family, or Claire's friends and schoolmates, as we want to ensure that only accurate information about Claire is shared."
