Bethesda Softworks recently made a slew of announcements regarding its current gaming line-up and upcoming big projects. Included in the publisher's E3 2016 game reveals are Fallout 4, Quake Champions, The Elder Scrolls, Doom and more.

As for Fallout 4 fans, Bethesda announced that a new studio division has been specifically created to cater VR games according to ARS Technica. The US-based video game publisher also revealed that it is currently working on two VR games playable on HTC Vive. A full VR Fallout 4 vision is expected for 2017 launching. However, the purported Doom VR is still awaiting confirmation for a full release. Despite the hype, it remains to be seen how brand-name games will actually work on a virtual reality platform.

Also, avid players of the post-apocalyptic game will also receive another big DLC soon called Fallout Shelter on major consoles and PC. The new Fallout 4 expansion will include conveyor belts, sorting machines, track kits, and more. Other feature additions include Contraptions Workshop and a July update called Vault-Tec Workshop. A Nuka-World theme park expansion is also slated to arrive August this year.

Here is a rundown of Bethesda's other E3 2016 reveals and updates (via CNET):

1. Quake Champions: Bethesda introduced a "competitive arena-style PC shooter" in a gameplay trailer which seemed more like a concept video instead of an actual game. Nothing much was revealed at E3 but the publisher will surely announcement more details at Quakecon in August.

2. Elder Scrolls Legends: The new Elder Scrolls Legends free-to-play strategy card game will feature single player and multiplayer modes playable across Android, iOS, and PC devices sometime this year.

3. Skyrim Special Edition: The publisher revealed a raft of incredibly impressive graphics in a forthcoming special edition for PlayStation 4 and Xbox.

4. Prey: Also announced by Arkane Studios, the trail seems to suggest a space horror gameplay akin to Groundhog Day.

5. Doom: The game's first level will be offered free for a week. Doom creators said it was reminiscent of the shareware era where the cult classic FPS original came from.

6. The Elder Scrolls Online: The game will soon have a Dark Brotherhood DLC plus a new "One Tamriel" update which permits gamers to explore the game's massive work regardless of the character's level.

7. Dishonored 2: In-game footage reveals excellent gameplay environment and character supernatural abilities.

Meanwhile, Bethesda also mentioned two unnamed projects (full titles not DLC) that are as big as its brand-name games like Fallout 4 and Skyrim.

"I need folks to understand that we're talking about big games like a Skyrim and a Fallout 4 and a Fallout 3 and those don't just happen," said the publisher's public relations Chief Pete Hines said as per VG247.
