According to Express  Dr. Peter Hamlyn, a neurological and spinal surgeon, addressed that not everyone with head injuries do recover. However for the lucky ones who do, the process is extremely slow. This ambiguous situation can make family and close people suffer mentally and emotionally.

Currently the weekly maintenance cost for Michael's treatment is around $140,000 per week, which is to pay for team of nutritionists, physiotherapists and doctors along with medication.

Michael Schumacher has a team of 15 medical professionals who are taking care of him through out the day. Dr. Jean-Francois Payen is leading them, and he is also the one who did Schumacher's brain operation.

Few weeks ago former Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo interviewed with CNN that he is happy that Schumacher is "reacting." However, he did not elaborate what he meant by "reacting" to the treatment.

While Michael's recovery is not certain at this point, there's some good news.

Michael Schumacher has a net worth of $800 million and he is married to Corrina, 46, in 1995, has stood by her husband throughout the his treatment.

In December 2013, Schumacher had a severe head injury while skiing. He was brought to hospital and placed in a medically induced coma, having suffering a brain injury. He was in the coma for six months from 29 December 2013 until 16 June 2014.
