Disney is an animation powerhouse responsible for producing a long list of hugely successful 3D film titles. Of all the animated films the entertainment giant released over the years, 'Frozen' bags the honor as its biggest cash cow. So, it makes a lot of sense to follow it up with a sequel. But as fans wait for a 'Frozen 2' release, voice actress Idina Menzel suggested Elsa's possible death in the sequel in a recent comment.

Menzel is the voice behind the movie's hyper-popular character Elsa, the troubled royal figure who struggled with her own power in the first movie. The voice actress recently confirmed that the much awaited sequel is currently in the early stages of production. The next title, however, will put the focus away from Elsa. Instead, the new plot will highlight her younger sister Anna's own emotional struggles pretty much like the way she went through in the original flick.

As reported by Christian Post, Anna will find herself struggling with the uncertainties upon the discovery of her own yet unspecified powers. Her own internal struggle will somewhat resemble Elsa's own predicament in wielding her ability to control the ice.

Apart from shifting the spotlight from Elsa to Anna, Menzel revealed in an interview with E! News of Elsa's possible death after falling off the cliff. She also confirmed that she will continue reprise her voice acting role alongside Kristen Bell's Anna. While the voice actress jokingly hinted Elsa's death in the next title, the comment was quite disturbing enough for 'Frozen' fans.

"We are at story writing and they're working on it and I think I'm in it. That's all I know - unless maybe Elsa falls off an ice cliff and she dies in the first five minutes," Menzel said with a smirk on her face as mentioned in a Yahoo News report.

In a 'Frozen 2'-related update, a report from Movie News Guide mentioned that Olaf, played by Josh Gad, will reportedly have a girlfriend in the upcoming sequel. Like Elsa and Anna, Olaf happens to be one of the most fan favorite characters in the original film with his infectious optimism in life. As loveable character, fans are quite dying to see him dating a snow-woman.

Meanwhile, an emerging fan sector is urging Disney to Elsa single amid the polarizing social media war between LGBT advocates and conservatives. Instead of suggesting a girlfriend or a prince charming, this group argues that the young queen has no need for either a male or female romantic partner. This third group of fans simply demand to keep her as she is, Morning News USA reported.
