This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will soon officially kick off in Los Angeles, California. A week leading up to the gaming industry event, Nintendo is building up media hype by bringing a slew of surprises including a rundown of title releases plus a new game artwork for 'Legend of Zelda Wii U.'

As reported by Christian Today, the Japanese gaming giant is set to announce to 'Legend of Zelda' fans a raft of details about the game for Nintendo Wii U and the next-gen NX platforms. The company's streaming schedule starts off on Tuesday June 14 9am (PT).

As reported by IGN, Nintendo's latest 'The Legend of Zelda Wii U' promotional game artwork features Link donning a blue garment instead of the usual green he wears as he climbs a cliff side with the landscape sprawling out in the foreground. More information is expected to be announced at E3 with fans getting a chance to try the game firsthand before it hits the market.

To further energize the pre-game reveal ahead of E3, Nintendo's marketing team has launched a 'Legend of Zelda' Twitter campaign with fans getting in-app treats from Nintendo's Mitomo. As reported by Game Zone, the promo stated if the official Twitter page receives 10,000 re-tweets from fans, all Mitomo users shall get Link's new hair wig add-on on June 14. A raft of other gifts and treats are available online for players ahead of the kick-off.

Meanwhile, Epic Stream noted that the game publisher will also offer discounts to fans on Nintendo's eShop plus a so-called 'special bonus' for those who took the offer. A special discount also awaits for MyNintendo and Nintendo eShop users who linked their account to their network ID.

Apart from the 'Legend of Zelda, Nintendo will also release some Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon gameplay footage. For fans who can't make it to E3 in person, live broadcasts of the event are available via Nintendo's Twitch and YouTube channels.
