"World of Warcraft" wants you to recruit your friends to play, and there are awesome benefits attached to every person whom you refer to join.

According to Blizzard Entertainment's official website, the "Recruit A Friend" is a referral system that will give you exclusive in-game content when you play together. The benefits of your friends joining include increased experience, character summoning, and level granting.

Veteran gamers will also profit off their recruits. Example: if your friend buys one month of game time, you will get one month of free game time. So if you recruit six of your friends, you could potentially receive half a year's game time for free.

Recruiting your friends is simple! Just follow the steps below, courtesy of Blizzard Entertainment. (Note: the promotion is for friends who don't have a WoW account. Resurrecting friends doesn't count towards earning in-game benefits.):

1. "Log in to World of Warcraft on the character you want to play with your friend. Your recruit will be directed to join that character's faction and realm."

2. "Open your Friends List and click the Recruit A Friend icon in the upper-right corner. Enter your friend's email address and send the email invitation, which will be valid for seven days from the time it is sent. If your friend does not receive the email, have them check their spam or junk folder and their email filters."

3. "The link between your accounts will be created as soon as your friend accepts your email invitation and activates their Starter Edition. The link will last for 90 days."

The Recruit A Friend promotion will only work for accounts referred and created after Nov. 12, 2013.
