The release of "Pokémon Sun and Moon is still quite a few months away, and more information about the highly anticipated games is slowly coming to light whether its via official information or leaks.

While this latest update doesn't potentially add anything new to that information, we at least now know what will be coming with the game when it arrives mid-November: an official strategy guide.

Titled "Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon: The Official Strategy Guide," the 350-page book will come in two variants: a standard edition for $25 and a collector's edition for $40. Those in the U.S. can pre-order the standard edition here and the collector's edition here, while those in Canada can pre-order the standard and collector's editions here and here, respectively.

The official description for the guides reads as follows:

"The official strategy guide from Pokémon for the 'Pokémon Sun' & 'Pokémon Moon' video games!"

"Be prepared for each part of your journey with the step-by-step walkthrough and extensive hints in 'Pokémon Sun & Pokémon Moon: The Official Strategy Guide'! From your first steps as a Trainer and through your adventure, this guide has the info and tips to help you play like the very best."

Both iterations of the guide will include:

- Detailed walk-through of the brand-new Pokémon games
- Locations of where to catch Pokémon
- Lists of moves, items, and more — including how to obtain them
- Helpful tips for getting the most out of communication features
- Pullout map of the region

To justify it's increased price, the CE will also be getting an a premium hardcover and "bonus content" only available in the special version. However, whether this bonus content alludes to actual material within the book or something that grants a tangible benefit in the game is unclear.

In related news, "Pokémon Sun" and "Moon" recently had their first official batch of information released on May 10 when a trailer revealed various aspects of the game, such as the starting Pokémon, regions and more. More official info about the game is slated to arrive on June 2. And, of course, as all this is going down, plenty of rumors and speculation about the games have continued to crop up. One notable one was a data-mining effort which revealed the types of the final evolutions of the three starters - Rowlet, Litten and Popplio.

"Pokémon Sun" and "Moon" are due out for the Nintendo 3DS in Japan and North America on Nov. 18, while Europe will join in on the quest to catch 'em all on Nov. 23. The official strategy guide will release at the same time.
