Being a celebrity has many benefits, but there are also quite a few detriments - one of which is being pursued by unsavory individuals, aka stalking. Taylor Swift has, unfortunately, been stalked by quite a few men, including one who showed up at her New York City home yesterday.

The police arrested a “disoriented” and “emotionally disturbed” man May 10 outside of the singer’s Tribeca apartment building around 6 p.m.

The unkempt Lucas Vorsteveld, of Bryport, Vt., was first discovered wandering around Swift’s block. Once the 25-year-old rang her doorbell, her security team sprang into action and detained him until the NYPD and NYFD arrived at the scene.

Cops handcuffed Vorsteveld and escorted him to Mount Sinai Beth Israel hospital for a psychiatric evaluation. It is unclear if he will be charged with any crimes.

The “Bad Blood” singer was not home at the time of the incident.

This is not the first time Vorsteveld was found stalking Swift. He previously showed up at her house in Watch Hill, R.I. “He said he’s an aspiring singer and needs Taylor Swift to help his career,” an insider said. For this incident, which occurred in May 2013, he was charged with trespassing.

At least three other men have been caught stalking the vocalist, including two earlier this year.

On Feb. 3, a man was found lurking around Swift’s Bel Air, Calif., residence. Her neighbors reportedly called the LAPD after getting “spooked” by a suspicious individual screaming for her to come outside. This man was detained by authorities and taken to a hospital for observation.

A little more than a week later, on Feb. 13, a different man showed up at the blonde’s Beverly Hills home with a guitar in hopes of sharing some of his music with her. He refused to vacate the premises until the cops were called in. He then left on his own without any charges.

And, in 2014, Swift was granted a temporary restraining order against Timothy Sweet, who claimed he was married to the singer and would kill anyone who stood in their way.

“This is why it’s irresponsible for the media to publish the addresses or recent real estate transactions of celebrities,” Swift’s rep said earlier this year.
