We haven't seen Bonnie (Kat Graham) in the last couple episodes on "The Vampire Diaries". However, that doesn't by any stretch of the imagination mean she's doing better. According to TVLine.com, life is going to get even tougher for our favorite Bennett witch, I mean, anchor.

Show co-creator Caroline Dries tells TVLine, Bonnie's new burden as the anchor is "part of her personality now." Dries adds that being the anchor will eventually take a toll on Bonnie despite her ability to handle her situation quite well at first.

Dries also tells the website there are bumpy times ahead for Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Bonnie thanks to the her job as the anchor.

"No relationship on this show is safe for too long. They're going to hit some speedbumps," she reminds fans.

Delena fans got their own reminder of Dries' statement during last week's midseason finale as Damon (Ian Somerhalder) ultimately ended it with Elena (Nina Dobrev). He essentially told her he was poison and did too many wrong things. Even when she said she would be with him despite his murderous vendetta against the Whitmores, Damon still called it quits.

When we return to Mystical Falls on Jan. 23 for Episode 100 of "The Vampire Diaries", everyone will probably be less focused on their relationships and more worried about Katherine's (also played by Dobrev) impeding death. And by "focused" I mean pseudo-celebrating. In the video below it they are taking shots as they remember all the horrible things Katherine has done to them.

Although Elena and the rest of the gang would be happy to see Katherine go, would you? Leave your comments below.

"The Vampire Diaries" airs Thursdays at 8/7c on The CW.
