Even though 16-year-old Kylie Jenner and 15-year-old Jaden Smith are always spotted leaving cutesy comments on each other's Instagrams, in a recent interview for her Seventeen magazine prom issue cover shot, the reality star denied that they were an item, E! News reports.

While she and Smith aren't together as a couple, she did say she'd love to share a prom experience with him, as he is her best guy friend.

"I don't have a boyfriend, but I do really want that boyfriend prom experience," Jenner told Seventeen. "I would want to go with someone who's not afraid, or doesn't think that he's too cool, to show up at my house with a rose corsage. It would be nice for the guy to come over and be respectful and nice while my mom takes prom pics. If I couldn't find a boyfriend, I would want to go with one of my best guy friends, like Jaden [Smith]. I know I'd have fun with him - he makes me laugh and he is a great dancer."

The two friends were most recently photographed spending the day together in L.A., caught holding hands while shopping and grabbing a bite to eat on Melrose Avenue. They've been a rumored couple for months now, having attended the "Ender's Game" premiere together and left plenty of heartfelt comments on each other's social media accounts, leaving many to speculate that they may be more than friends.

Whether or not she does go to prom, with or without Smith, Jenner made one thing clear: she won't be sitting still the night of.

"I love to dance, so I'm definitely always the first one out on the dance floor. And when it comes to guys, I don't get shy," she said. "So if I wasn't with a date, I wouldn't have a problem going up to a guy and just saying, 'Are you gonna dance with me?' Trust me, it'll work for you too! Guys like it when you aren't afraid to make the first move."
