Lil' Kim, is that really you? On Sunday, the rapper posted a collage of six selfies to her Instagram where she made various facial expressions, but many of her fans were not happy with the series of pictures.

The rapper looked noticeably different in the pictures as she sported blonde hair, a noticeably lighter skin tone and a very thin nose.

"Miami heat," the 41-year-old captioned the collage on the social media site.

Within hours of posting the pictures, Instagram users spoke out about Lil' Kim's new look.

"It's really so sad that Lil Kim didn't realize how beautiful she was without all of the surgery & bleaching," on fan said.

"Lil' Kim needs love, support, understanding," a fan urged. "Not shame & judgment."

"You destroyed you natural beauty Black Is Beautiful...you made yourself to a doll.shame you didn't love yourself enough but I won't judge just pray for you," another fan said.

This is just the latest instance of the rapper's ever-changing looks and was not the first time she came under fire. She was rumored to go under the knife in 2012 when it appeared that her skin tone was lighter and she had a slimmer nose. Many of her fans are concerned that her outer changes revolve around an inner self-esteem problem. More than a decade ago, the Biggie protégé gave an interview where she opened up about how she never thought she was attractive due to years of negative interactions with men.

"All my life men have told me I wasn't pretty enough - even the men I was dating. And I'd be like, 'Well, why are you with me, then?'" she said. "It's always been men putting me down just like my dad. To this day when someone says I'm cute, I can't see it. I don't see it no matter what anybody says."

"I have low self-esteem and I always have," she continued. "Guys always cheated on me with women who were European-looking. You know, the long-hair type. Really beautiful women that left me thinking, 'How I can I compete with that?' Being a regular black girl wasn't good enough."
