Lil Kim is officially a mommy! The 39-year-old rapper welcomed her first child, a baby girl, at 9:58 a.m. on Monday, June 9. A source told US Weekly the baby, named Royal Reign, was 6 pounds and 5 ounces and was 19.5 inches long.

Lil Kim first announced her pregnancy news back in February on the red carpet at New York Fashion Week.

"I'm so excited! I'm a few months along, I can't wait to be a mom!" she told US Weekly at the time. "I'm still going to work. I'm still going to be hardcore. The baby has made me even more of a beast!"

After sitting front row at a fashion show, the rapper performed her hit song "Lighters Up" again sharing her baby news with the audience.

"I'm a mom, but I can turn it up a little!" she said rubbing her belly. At the time, Kim's BFF Jennifer Dalton told US that the rapper always wanted to have kids.

"She's always wanted to have a child... She is very, very good with kids. She loves kids! And she's such a great godmother," Dalton said. "She's my daughter's godmother, she has three godkids. That's how great of a godmother she is - everybody wants her!"

Lil Kim hasn't publicly revealed the baby's father but according to reports the guy goes by the name Mr. Papers. E! News reports that he's a New York based rapper. The two were first linked back in 2012 when Lil Kim introduced him to her fans via Twitter.

She posted a photo of the two with the caption, "More from #ReturnoftheQueen Tour rehearsals with my new Boyfriend. Lol! Muahhh J!!"

However, a few months later the two split.

"As of 2night me & Papers are officially over. No malice or bad blood. I'll see U guys soon," she tweeted.

The two reconciled at some point and in March 2013 Lil Kim was introducing him as her boyfriend again.
